My move to Utah...

To start off...Dad thinks he is so funny...he got mom a rototiller (sp) for "her weeding" in the garden! Mom's face was priceless as dad took her outside in his robe and garments...like always, right family??? haha! Needless to say, dad will be the only one using it.

I got everything packed in a day or so because it was all pretty much packed still from my Vegas to Boise move. Deidre had a little bonfire thing for me before I moved with some friends from the branch. She is super sweet (said with a lisp of course).

Deidre drove one car down to Utah and I drove another. I forgot how much preschool toys and things I had in storage/the garage in Boise!!! We stayed at our friend's apt in Sandy and then drove down to Provo to find out way to my new place. I totally live next to a tattoo shop and a mexican restaurant. My kind of life? Yes! I already have a tattoo on my right butt cheek that says, "Shake your money maker." Haha. Just kidding. I thought I would start Tucanos and the preschool right away, but I had a week break. I was bored, so I made a trip up to Rexburg to see some friends. It was a nice break and I got to see some friends that I hadn't seen for a couple semesters.

I also got to babysit my neice, Bailee while Eric and Whitney went out for dinner before their move to Arkansas. She is the cutest thing and I loved watching Hairspray with her while she danced. We played outside and I'm amazed at what a big girl she is!!! I will miss them this summer.

For all those who didn't know, I got a Developmental PreSchool job in the Alpine School District in Utah. I am living in Provo, and taught at Lindon Elementary for three weeks while a teacher was on sick leave. I found out that I get a Macbook computer for my job! I must be a real professional to get my own computer. It's been overwhelming to say the least at all the meetings and paperwork this job will be because this is a special education position. I am starting the summer program on Tuesday, I have been selling plasma again, and I have been picking up shifts at Tucanos. I would love to pay off loans in a year or two if I can and I am saving up for a bed and dresser so I can move to a new place at the beginning of August. I might put down a deposit tomorrow for a nice two bedroom apt with a friend tomorrow. Cross your fingers!
